Preparing For Your Equine FAQ's Q: How do I plan a pasture for my Donkey, horse or mule? A: Read, ask questions and look at other equine owners setups. Do your best to keep the equine moving in a natural environment. Standing in a small stable and not moving other than being ridden causes cribbing (biting themselves, the barn and much more) a sign that the equine is in prison and is mentally going crazy. Donkeys can not stand this kind of life, it is best to give them a place to stretch their legs and explore as much as possible and not eat too much green grass this is why I like the paradise paddock concept. Easy to keep clean and the track keeps them moving I will be building one at our future home in Sequim, WA. before building our home and their barns.
